Rules (Format 1: March 31, 1969-January 2, 1970) The Game has 3 Celebrity/Star couples are involving all 4 questions throughout the show. (i.e.: "How many chicken legs could a college football team eat during the show?") to answer this/that question, The Celebrity/Star Couples are writing down their answers by the numbers and they averaged the answer numbers and selected only 1 studio audience player by the announcer John Harlan by choose 1 of the 3 couples correctly and he/she wins $100 and in September 1969, The Studio Audience Member will win merchandise prizes. (Format 2: January 5-July 31, 1970) The Studio Audience Member can choose the answer 4 times in 4 questions, He or She wins a new car. When he/she chose the wrong couple with the wrong answer, he/she loses a turn and it leads to choosing another studio audience member to choose the right answer.

Three teams, each comprised of two contestants, attempted to guess a numerical response to an improbable question (e.g. how many miles a man could walk on a treadmill before the half-hour is up). One team member responded, then the second, and then the contestants on the second and third teams guessed. The teams' responses were then averaged, after which the correct answer was revealed; the team that came closest won $100, and the second closest team won $75. The teams played four more rounds, with each question's value increasing up to $1000 for the closest and $500 for the second closest (during the final round). The winning team kept their cash award and then proceeded to the "Brainteaser" bonus round. To win the bonus, the team had to be +/- 25% of the correct answer.
